LIVING IN A TRAILER

As this blog develops I may post on events that do not relate to the technical end of rehabbing a house.  This is one of those posts so let me know if I should keep it to myself!
As mentioned, the Nashville house is unlivable at the present time so my dad allowed me to use his camper until I finish off a bedroom, bathroom and the essentials of a kitchen.  Here is my current setup, complete with the 40 yard dumpster and work truck parked in the front lawn;

The reason for posting this is that I recently found that I can have food delivered directly to the trailer!  Last week I ran out of groceries so I ordered a pizza online from the local Papa John’s.  After I completed the address portion of the online order form they asked for any special instructions and in this field I entered “Please Deliver to the Trailer Parked in the Driveway”.  To my amazement the driver pulled up, headed straight for the light on the side of the camper and knocked on the door!  It worked perfectly and I was able to toss out the empty box into the giant construction dumpster next to the trailer!

  1. Just wanted to point out that there was a fence around the house that you had to take down to make this situation possible...

  2. Also......the trailer is parked so far up in the driveway because the drive slopes into a carport and then there is a 2 level back yard. I'd like to see the yard and back of the house & deck.
